Having this project of posting photos from my time in Ireland has me digging back in my photos from there and reliving our time. It fills me with longing to get back, joy from remembering and excitement to show people this place I love so much!
Amy and I loved to walk around our neighborhood with our cameras (super nerdy I know but I don’t care!) and explore all the alleys and hidden places. In Dublin, there are these small streets behind some of the main roads with the big houses called “muses” and used to be where the stables were to these big houses. Over the years they’ve been built up in to a funky mish-mash of modern homes and old cottages. It’s never dull wondering around these small alleys! Here is a shot taken from one such ramble –
From one nerd to another, I think walking around on a secret mission to find way cool shots is the perfect way to spend the day and all the better if you have a friend to share it with.
I am so jealous. That sounds like a perfect afternoon in Dublin — oh, I long to do this! Did you end the day with a stop at the pub? Cuz that would be even more perfect! 🙂
