I get so excited about shooting in urban places for Senior Sessions because it kind of fits Seniors to me…full of life and potential with sometimes a little grittiness but surprises around every corner. That is exactly what Hannah and Hannah’s Senior Portrait Session in Ballard were like. Both Ballard and Hannah share qualities! It was not only just a fun place to be on a quiet Saturday morning, it suited Hannah to a ‘T’!

Hannah was such a fun model! I really appreciate it when Seniors have some input as well in their Senior Portrait Sessions. I like their ideas and then they get more invested in the session. I didn’t have to worry about investment with Hannah though! She was IN from frame ONE!

Hannah is studying art and design so has and eye for color. She was the one that found the yellow bike to go against the blue wall of the cover picture! She also gladly jumped up on a train car when I suggested it.

And this is why I love taking Senior Portrait Session in Ballard. Because you can go down one street and end up on train tracks with buildings crawling with cool vines, then you can scamper..that’s right! Scamper! Down an alleyway and find graffiti, then you can turn a corner and feel like your in France, then find some cool textured wall. You get the idea. Ballard is a fun place to have you Portraits taken, OK?!

I learned that Hannah is also a fan of thrift store finds! She brought a prize possession – Her mom’s old leather jacket! Such a fun way to add personality when you’re trying to decide what to wear for your Senior Portrait Session!
