Tommy

I met Tommy and his mom at Heritage Hall for his Senior Portraits. I love these Senior pictures so much!!  Tommy is a very easy kid to photograph. He has a terrific smile as well as a stirring “serious face”.  Yet another awesome kid from the ‘hood that I’ve had the privilege knowing his whole life! But once again, I rarely get one on one time with these kids until their Senior Portraits. It’s super fun to me to learn a bit more about what their plans are ahead and get to know them individually.

The Ford Falcon has to be my favorite “prop” for Senior portraits of all times. Being a fan of old cars, I was so excited when I first got to shoot this car for his brother Joey’s Senior portraits. When we took Joey’s shots, we went to an old warehouse in Woodinville that I like to shoot in front of but I wanted something different for Tommy’s, so had him meet me at one of my favorite place to shoot; Kirkland Waterfront. The alley and parking lot where we took the car is my little secret nook that I love to shoot in and I thought the car would be great there! I wish I could say I actually planned ahead for this but I was so excited when I had him move the car out of the alley into one of my favorite parking lots to shoot and then noticed how PERFECT the building behind looked with the car! I got so excited! You can always tell when I really love a shot when I turn it to black and white. ?

Tommy also did a great job of selecting outfits for his Senior Portraits. Blue is always a great option. Most people tend to look great in blues and Tommy, as you can see, is no exception!

Tommy, I can’t wait to hear what you decide to do for your next chapter!

All the best,

Sugar
