I made my first attempt at a veggie garden this year. I had all these great visions of sunny summer blog posts with photos of me in my straw hat yanking out giant veggies, birds landing on my shoulder with a look of oneness with Mother Earth on my satisfied face. It didn’t quite work out like that. In fact, my garden production was really sad. Many gardeners comforted me by telling me it wasn’t a great summer for veggie gardens. I still can’t tell if they were just trying to let me down easy knowing how much work went into it or if that was really true. Last week I faced my sad little garden to clean it up, throw away my dead, non-producing vines and plants. I pulled up the few carrots and found this!
So cute! It’s like a little carrot puzzle. I can’t really say the carrots made up for all that work but I will try again. I will!
It is so cool that you tried a veggie garden! Don’t give up! Just plant more zucchini…. 🙂
There is something a little erotic about those carrots, I must say….
Hahah yeah those carrots are awesome! Well, next year try compost and manuer.. moaneur … man-eww-rr.
