I’ve been sitting here struggling with how to describe to you what my cousin Miriam means to me as I share these photos from her wedding. “Cousin” just doesn’t come close to describing my bond to Mir though if you know me you know what a bond that is. “One of my favorite people” is closer, “one of the easiest person for me to be around” is yet closer, but still not perfect. I guess the best thing I can think of is to tell you that when I tell my friends about Mir and they’ve never met her, I feel genuinely sorry for them because I know their lives would be much richer if they did. This is how I want to introduce her to you…oh yeah, and did I tell you that she is not ugly?
See what I mean?!
I’m so happy for her and happy to finally get to meet Larry who seems to evoke the same love and loyalty in his people as Mir does from her’s. Here’s a few more shots from the day…
They got married in this beautiful spot in Starkville, Mississippi where Larry is from.
Sigh….It was a beautiful day.
Congratulations Mir and Larry! I love you!
ok, so I’ve been waiting for these photos…what can I say, except soo beyond gorgeous, the two of them! Lucky fellow, lucky lady! I love the 2nd photo with the squinty embarrassed smile, but then I really love them all. Double sigh.
There are so many reasons that I wish we had known you when we got married. Here’s another one. These pictures are so beautiful. I hope Miriam feels so blessed by these.
Gorgeous! So romantic looking. I love her dress!
The shot of the rings is genius…
Ok, one more comment. The B & w from above of their dance is so intimate even though you know everyone is watching. From above it’s like a “God” shot rather than from the side where we’d expect and feel like we were in a crowd. Now you just need to figure out how to levitate so you can always do this!
I was levitating, Ryan. That’s part of my wedding package. 😉
GOR-GEE-US!
Uh, love her dress! WOW!
Oh, these are so fabulous!! Wow, what a treat it was to be there to help celebrate. The photos are just stunning. 🙂
