When I heard that Joy and Jules Bianchi were coming to creativeLIVE to talk about Marketing to Moms, I knew I had to be there.  Two problems stood in my way –

1. I had to make a video…I’m bad in video. I’m not kidding.  Bad!

2. I had to “tweet” it… I’ve never “tweeted” in my life!

My video had to be about my best mom tip.  I tried not to think about it too much and just went for it!  I put together this really dorky video about our “I’m Bored” Board with my daughter as cameraman and my niece playing my daughter.  It’s kind of cringe worthy… But ah well!  It got me in the audience and that, I do NOT regret! It was a great experience…even if it involved me being on live cameras!

I thought I’d share it with you because if you can’t make fun of yourself, well, who can?! 🙂 I put some of the outtakes in at the end.. Check it out –

Btw – this is my first ever attempt at splicing video.  Lots of firsts for me in this post I guess!

One of the reasons I wanted to post this is that I want to do better this summer at keeping the girls doing fun projects.  I always start out with good intentions and then the weeks fly by and we are back in school and I feel like I missed a lot of opportunity to share some fun times with my girls.  I’m going to be super busy this summer so I don’t want to set myself up for failure and then more guilt but I do want to do better.  I hope to post some of these projects here over the summer so stayed tuned…I promise no more dorky videos!
