I’ve known that I need filters as protection for my lenses for a while now. It’s just that my want/need list is so long and a filter is just not as fun to buy as other camera stuff but I KNEW I needed to do it. On THE DAY that I had in mind to go get it, I dropped my lens 24-70mm….my go-to lens. @*&$^@!! Luckily it didn’t break the glass but “just” bent the rim. But it will cost me close to $200 to repair it. A filter for my lens is about $35.
If you do happen to drop your lens and/or need camera repair – The Camera Clinic in North Seattle has been great at helping me fix the problem. I do hope, however, you won’t have to ever pay them a visit!
#$&%!!! is right!
