I found this rocking chair at Value Village and fell in love. It was for sale for a whole $20 so I decided not to think about the fact that I didn’t have a place for it. I bought it and had it reupholstered by a professional this time (worth every penny!). I sent the before and after to my friend Amy who posted it on her design blog and therefore saved me the trouble of putting the photos together! Thanks Amy!

You are an artist in all ways my talented friend! Rocking can be very therapeutic after a challenging day —especially with a glass of wine or hot tea and a good book! No sloshing though on that nice upholstery!
