Two things in life are true – If you have Prosciutto in your hand and your a kid, a dog is going to follow you.  If your a kid and I have a camera, I’m going to follow you.   You can carve those into tablets of stone. Then say to yourself, “The words of wisdom on this blog are astounding!”  🙂

The story behind these photos is this – I was photographing an anniversary party last weekend and the grandchild of the celebrated couple was picking cute and didn’t like that I wanted to take his photo.  So he hid from me.  But I would not be deterred.   Poor kid.  The dog also hid from me but for other reasons.  Look at his eyes trained on the Prosciutto –

I got him to peak out –

The dog is laser focused!

I love moments like this in a busy party.  A story unfolding.  I love also seeing all the legs around the table and remembering hiding like that myself.

It was such a great party.  I love going to things like this in a room full of strangers and as an outsider, feeling the absolute love people have for each other.  It was a treat for me to be there!
