Grace

When Grace and her mom stepped out of their car to meet me at Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland for Grace’s Senior Portraits, I was like.,“Oh! I know you!” Often in this community, which really feels like a small town in the big city, I see faces while walking around the ‘hood or at various school activities and they become familiar. I see them enough to say “hi” but have never been formally introduced. So it was super fun to put a name with a face (instead of the other way around)!

Grace was such a fun Senior to photograph.  She was fearless and absolutely game to try new poses and just live in the moment with me! I also have some fun outtakes from our time together that just make me smile! I had exactly one kajillion great shots of her. It was hard to narrow it down!

I also loved the outfits Grace picked for her Senior Session. These boots…Well, I’m not above admitting that I had visions of them being MINE (evil laugh and hand rub). But I quilled the evil and let her keep them. ?

If you’re looking for ideas for what to wear for your Senior Portraits, I think Grace did a great job of picking a couple different and fun tops with her jeans and then a fun flowy dress. I like the variety of a plain white top and then one that has a bit more interest to it.

Grace, I hope that your Senior year at Juanita is the Bees Knees! I’m confident that you will finish out your last chapter as a Juanita Rebel with the same fearlessness, style, personality and the sense of humor you showed me at your Senior Session! It was an honor to photograph you!

All the best,

Christiana
