Jaden

I photograph a lot of people. The thing I most often hear is “I don’t like having my photo taken”. And I’m guessing that the ones who aren’t saying it are thinking it. It’s totally normal to be a bit camera shy at first or even the whole time. I get it! I’m definitely more like that myself! It takes time to warm up to someone putting a big lens in your face and expecting you to act normal. Which is why it’s always refreshing when someone is totally comfortable in front of the camera.

Jaden was immediately comfortable in front of the camera like he’s been doing this every day for his whole life. We could all, myself included, learn something from Jaden! After all, the more relaxed you are, the happier you’ll be with the images and the more fun you’ll have during the photo shoot!

For Jaden’s Senior Photos, we met at St. Edwards Park in Kirkland where I ended up shooting Senior Portraits quite a bit this year! I love all the variety the park offers. As well as all the backgrounds, it offers good shade until the sun loses its hardness and floats into that “Golden Hour” we photographers die for.

It also offered Jaden some opportunities to let his own artistic ideas shine as in this photo which was totally his idea.

Makes me laugh!

Jaden is an athlete who is into to literally every sport. It made my head spin when his mom told me all the boy was doing! Juanita Football, Soccer, Basketball, Golf, Swimming, Darts, Track, Luge and Rounders teams will be sad to loose you (some of those are made up…but I’m probably also leaving something out).

Jaden, all the best to you and you take on your next opportunity like a football cleanly sailing through the air into your arms. Go REBS! ?
